Chris Brown's next album will be called "Royalty".
Chris Brown's lat album, X, suffered unexpected delays when Chris found himself in-and-out of rehab and eventually serving a minor jail sentence. The LP finally saw the light of day following his release, and since he's been keeping himself out of legal trouble, his new album is expected soon, and now it has an official title.
Royalty will be Brown's seventh studio album, sharing its name with the singer's 15-month-old daughter.
Chris announced the news on Twitter yesterday, but fans who have been following his social media presence over the last few months will not be surprised. Brown has been very vocal about the inspiration he takes from his daughter, even if he and her mother still seem to have some issues to work out.
Chris is in the middle of his One Hell Of A Nite tour, so we're not sure when we'll hear the final product, but we wouldn't be surprised if it dropped before the year's end
Chris Brown wins joint custody of his daughter Royalty.
chris Brown is a happy man today (September 11), as he's just been awarded joint custody of his daughter Royalty. The case was decided between Brown and Royalty's mother, Nia Guzman, today in Houston. Guzman had wished to deny Brown joint custody, and she only wanted him visiting Royalty on supervised visits.
As Royalty is now entitled to joint custody, she and Guzman will move to L.A., where she will rotate between each parent's household four days at a time. TMZ also reports that Brown will continue to pay Guzman $2,500 per month, as the judge has denied Guzman's motion to increase the payments to $15,000 monthly.
In advance of the hearing, Brown forced himself to remain disciplined while embarking on his "One Hell of a Nite" tour, and it seems all his hard work has paid off. Brown has also named his next album after his daughter, whom he discovered was his offspring in March.
Chris Brown's baby mama makes a power move
the mother of Chris Brown's 1-year old daughter, Nia Guzman, is seeking full custody of their child, reports TMZ.
If a judge approves her application, Brown would only be able to make supervised visits to baby Royalty. He has yet to hear back on the documents he filed in June to establish paternity.
Breezy reportedly believes that Guzman is seeking full custody in an attempt to to leverage him for increased child support. Back in March, she demanded that monthly payments be increased from $2,500/mo to $15,000/mo.
We'll keep you updated as Chris Brown and his legal team prepare their rebuttal.
Chris Brown wants his daughter's mother to stop bad-mouthing him all over social media
Brown and Guzman will be in court this morning, in order to start working out a custody arrangement for their daughter Royalty. Guzman wants full custody, however Brown wants shared custody. On top of that, Brown also filed documents for an injunction that would block Guzman from bashing him all over social media and in the news. Apart from the gag order, the two will also be battling it out for child support-- the singer wants to pay $2,500/month, while the baby mama wants $15,000/month.
We'll keep you posted as the case unfolds.
